Memorial services will be 2pm, Saturday, September 12, 2015, at Heartland Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at Noon.
Ashley Joelle was born October 9, 1995 in Sioux Falls to Arlen and Betsy (Teerink) Heesch. She was raised and attended school there and graduated from Washington High School in 2014. She attended college in Minneapolis at the Minnesota Art Institute.
Ashley was a free spirit that was learning who she was and blossoming beautifully. She loved her truck and spent hours driving around and listening to music in it. Ashley also liked “Anime” and “Monga” and watched many movies and read books involving the Japanese art. Her friends were very important to her as well and hangin’ at Fryin’ Pan was one of her “things.” She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
Ashley is survived by her parents, Arlen and Betsy; one sister, Emmalee, Sioux Falls; grandparents, Barb Pelkey, Sioux Falls, Lowell Feit, Luverne, MN, Bonnie Berscheid, Sioux Falls, and Lowell Heesch, Boise, ID; great-grandparents, Doris Berscheid, Sioux Falls, Howard & Lois Teerink, Worthington, MN, and Delbert & Madie Heesch, Sioux Falls; special friend, Tim Dumel; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Ashley was greeted in Heaven by her one sibling, Jami Jo; Grandpa Jessie, and her great-grandfather, Gene.

Arlene, Betsy and Emmalee,
Our deepest sympathy to you as you go though this tough time. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Jason, Bobbe and Amanda Wingert
I know that Grandpa Jesse was waiting for you to wrap his arms around you…life will never be the same without the two of you…you both taught us what unconditional love was all about…you shared your quick wit and humor to brighten our days…your laughter and shared moments were a joy to behold…I will always hold those moments close to my heart
May the God of all comfort give you the strength to endure the pain in your hearts at this time. Keep the hope alive of being together again in the near future. My deepest sympathy goes out to you.
Betsy, or hearts are hurting for you, our prayers are with you, and our love surrounds you. We cannot imagine a greater pain.
Please extend our deepest sympathies to your family. We were fortunate to know the Bears chefs when we lived in Hartford and always look forward to your welcoming smile at McDonalds.
Arlen, Betsey, Emmalee:
My heart hurts with the knowledge of the loss and pain you, the family and friends who were close to Ashley, are having to endure. No words can offer solace, she was a spirit taken way too soon; unexpectedly, and a loss felt by many. I hope you find some level of comfort in the knowledge that although she was taken prematurely, she nonetheless will always be with you all. I love you guys, and I am sorry.
Stacy Mertz (Heesch)
Ashley, you will be sorely missed in this world, and you were surely loved by many. My heart goes out to everybody who has lost this beautiful light in their lives far too early.
Arlen,Betsy and Emmalee:

You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
Ashley i will truly miss working with you. I loved going to work to see your hugh smile when you walked thru the door. I also loved the after work trips to fry’n pan breakfasts. May you RIP and god be with you on your next resting place in HEAVEN.
