Blanche was in the same grade as my sister Beverly at Parker, SD. One of my favorite remembrances of Blanche was when she would walk her two Scottie dogs around town. She was perhaps eight years old at the time. Bob was a classmate of mine at Parker. Just a few years ago I had a nice letter from Fran about her husband, Edsel. Blanches’ father was our rural mail carrier for many years. Years later I had Blanche’s niece and nephew in elementary school at Yankton, SD. It was through that family I was kept informed about Blanche over the years. Beverly will be saddened to learn of Blanche’s passing. The Baily’s were a great Parker family and will be missed.
