Brett Allyn Sandberg

May 21, 1964 – December 16, 2023

Brett passed away on December 16, 2023, at Centra Care Hospital in St. Cloud, MN at age 59.

A Graveside Service is planned for 10:30am, Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Brandon Lutheran Cemetery, Brandon, SD.

Brett was born May 21, 1964, in Willmar, MN, where he attended both grade and high school, graduating in 1982. After high school, he attended Willmar Vocational College for welding. He later obtained his bachelor’s degree in Sociology from St. Cloud State University.

Throughout his life, Brett held a variety of jobs including managing adult group homes, bartending, groundskeeping at an RV park, test proctoring for Pearson Vue, hazardous materials inspection, and deliveries for UPS. Despite moving numerous times, Brett found friendship with those around him in each location.

Even through multiple challenges of illness, Brett approached his journey with resilience and enthusiasm.

Brett is survived by his daughter, Nichole Bredeson (Tom Schultz), Atwater, MN; granddaughters, Kara and Khloe Bredeson, Atwater, MN; parents, Darwood and Betty Sandberg, Brandon; and sister; Kelly Sandberg, Brandon,

Brett leaves behind a network of connections that served as a source of strength in difficult times.
