Bryan L. Buechler, 57, died Sunday, June 19, 2016, at the Dougherty Hospice Home in Sioux Falls.

Memorial Services will be 1:30 pm, Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Heartland Funeral Home followed by Full Military Honors.

Bryan Loren Buechler was born July 21, 1958, in Olivet, SD to Loren Charlotte (Weidenbach) Buechler. He was raised and attended school in Scotland, SD where he graduated from high school. Bryan was also raised attending the Kingdom Hall with his family. He then attended Mitchell Vo-tech to become a mechanic. Bryan farmed for a while before he joined the Air Force where he was a mechanic. When he discharged, he resided in Arizona and California before he returned to Sioux Falls. He worked at several jobs in landscaping, lawn care, and general labor until his health forced him into disability. On September 6, 2008, Bryan married the love of his life, Marilyn Brott, in Sioux Falls.

Bryan and his father made many memories fishing. He also loved to shoot pool and attend concerts. Watching television, especially football and other sports, were also favorite pastimes. Bryan was a gentle, caring and helping person and would do anything to help anyone.

Bryan will be greatly missed by his wife, Marilyn; his father, Loren, Sioux Falls; and two sisters, Deb Whalen, Sioux Falls and Brenda Buechler, AZ.

Bryan was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte.

    I just found Bryan’s Obit yesterday 6/24/ 21. Brian was a great friend and co-worker. i was hoping to get in touch with Bryan. My heartfelt condolences to Brenda.

    Hi Pat. I just noticed your comment. Thank you for that! Didn’t you use to live in Mesa,AZ? So sad my brother ran into hard times and had many health problems. He had a great wife, she just passed . He will be missed.
