Carol Christy Heintzman was born on August 13, 1955, in Aberdeen, SD, to Larry and Ellie (Brosy) Heintzman. As a graduate of Central High School, Carol embraced the role of a full-time mother with grace and later extended her nurturing touch to the children she cared for at her in-home daycare. As her own family grew, Carol’s career path led her to telecommunication sales and later to a dietary company, where she was dedicated to helping others achieve their goals. Her unique ability to make each individual she met feel special was one of the many gifts she shared freely.
Carol’s life was a living example of devotion to her loved ones and her faith. Her gentle spirit and caring nature were the cornerstones upon which she built her life. Her enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures, such as her favorite television shows on Wednesday nights and her love for chocolate and ice cream, were well-known among her family and friends.
Carol’s personal interests included joyous gatherings with friends, the camaraderie of card games, and soaking in the sunshine. Her warm personality and depth of conversation will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
Carol is survived by her sons, Shawn Rohrich, Jeremy Rohrich, and Josh Rohrich; her husband, Tony Rohrich; her stepchildren, Loren Rohrich, Kelly Rohrich, and Sheila (Craig) Rohrich; her cherished grandchildren, Caden, Alicia, Bailey, Taylor, Heather, Tessa, Courtney, and Paige; her mother, Ellie Heintzman; her siblings, Rick Heintzman, Mark Heintzman, Steve Heintzman, Roger Heintzman, Jason Heintzman and Barb Schipke; and her many nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in passing by her father, Larry Heintzman; her brother-in-law, Dale Schipke; and her stepson, Jesse Rohrich.
