Cynthia K. Fritz, 71, Sioux Falls, SD, died Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at the Dougherty Hospice home in Sioux Falls.
Funeral Services will begin at 1pm, Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Abiding Savior Free Lutheran Church, in Sioux Falls, SD, with a visitation starting at 12, Noon. Burial will follow at the Jasper City Cemetery, Jasper, MN.
Cynthia Kay Baden was born to Edward A. and Ida L.M. (Wussow) Baden, on June 27, 1951. She spent most of her school years in Pipestone MN, and graduated there in 1969. After graduation, she worked at Lange’s Café, as a cook and waitress.
On July 7, 1983, she was married to Larry Fritz. They made their home in Pipestone and Cindy worked in the upholstery department at Bayliner Marine. In 1993, they moved to Sioux Falls, SD, where Cindy worked for several years for Sears Payment Systems in collections. She then worked for Sanford Health in customer service.
Cindy was a long-term member of Abiding Savior Church. She enjoyed sewing clothes for her grandchildren and doing crochet.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Larry; stepdaughter, Kristi (Chris) Olson; step-grandchildren, Alexandra and Nathan Olson; one sister, Carol (Ron) Dengler; two nieces and three nephews; four grand-nieces, and three grand-nephews.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one brother.
