I had the great honor of being Ed’s nurse many times in Outpatient Care Center. I am so very sorry for your loss! What a special person he was; so kind, funny and tough as nails. He had 9 lives-even with all his medical issues, he always had a smile no matter how he felt. I will miss being nearly run over by him on his scooter-haha! It will be sad not seeing him every week. He was one of our favorite patients! I know you all are heartbroken and I am deeply sorry.

My deepest sympathies Laurel. I got to know you and Ed back in the late 80’s on the Kirby trips. “Edie O” had such a enthusiastic spirit it was a pleasure to be in the company of you both. It was evident that you two had a special love for each other, what a precious gift. Peace and love of our Father be with you during this difficult time.

I got to know Edie over the years through Starbucks (Venti Latte). He was such a wonderful man! No matter what was going on in his life, there was always a smile on his face 🙂
Edie O will be greatly missed!
May God bless you all at this difficult time.
