Marcia & Family, I haven’t seen Gladys for at least 5 years, but I fondly remember her in our TOPS chapter. She was a great encourager for me, and I still have the little dresser scarf that she made for me as a gift one time. I put my jewelry on it every night. Sending my love and appreciation for a wonderful lady. God bless.

  • I had the fortune of meeting Gladys at several Kinney Christmas functions. She was an extremely cordial person and was always happy to be there. I know that she will be missed greatly by her family and friends! I look forward to paying my respect to her and the rest of the family at the funeral on Thursday. I am also looking forward to a lot of hugs from family — just keep in mind that, though it will be difficult, it’s the beginning of the healing process. Love to you all, LeAnne Fosdick

My condolences to the Brandt family in the loss of Gladys. My dad, Mel, used to say Gladys was the best bookkeeper in the world when she worked at the Elevator all those years.I remember seeing Gladys at the elevator when I went to see my dad and she was always so cheerful and friendly to everyone that came in there.

I am so sorry i cannot make it to your service. I have had many fond memories of my Grandma Gladys. When I was little, she taught my brother and I the Lords prayer at bedtime and would feed us Nilla wafers and bananas for a bedtime snack. She was as so loving. I have and always will miss her very much. May you Rest In Peace my sweet Grandma. I love you.

  • So sorry to hear of Glady’s passing. I know we are somehow related since my Mother was Lorraine Bjerk Hulbert, daughter of James and Mary Bjerk. After graduating from BCHS in 1960, I worked for a year and some summers with Gladys at the Beaver Creek State Bank. Not only was she nice and such a patient person while teaching me the ropes, we had so much fun and laughed so hard. It was Gladys, George Miller and myself at the time–what a threesome!! May you as Glady’s family, find God’s perfect peace, comfort and solace as you grieve her passing and celebrate her life.
    Kindly and lovingly,
