Jamie R. Lowe, 48, Sioux Falls, died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, September 21, 2023.
Memorial Services will be held at 1pm, Friday, October 6, 2023, at Heartland Funeral Home, Brandon.
Jamie Rae Lowe was born on August 25, 1975, to Larry and Linda (Sinning) Lowe. He grew up in Sioux Falls, SD, and graduated from Washington High School, in May 1995. Jamie worked at various locations, ending up at Red Robins as a dishwasher in 2019. He enjoyed being outside and working on small engines.
Jamie, with Ruth Abernathy, welcomed a daughter, Ashley Schlenker, in July 2000, and later, a grandson, Dean Aiden, in 2022.
In his spare time, Jamie collected movies and Eagle memorabilia. When his nephews were around, he became a big kid, playing games and talking with them late into the night.
Jamie is survived by his daughter, Ashley Schlenker; grandson, Dean Aiden; grandmother, Unice Lowe; mother, Linda Lowe; sister, Amber (David) Gillen; nephews, Stefan, Trevor, and Chase Gillen; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Linda, Amber and kids, Jamie is greatly missed. He was to young to leave this earth. Jamie was a dedicated employee at Red Robin. I was honored to call him my friend. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
