Orville Floyd Feiock

November 8, 1939 – April 18, 2023

   Orville F. Feiock, 83, Sioux Falls, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Firesteel Health Care in Mitchell, SD, with his children by his side.

   A Committal Service with Military Honors, will take place at the South Dakota Veteran’s Cemetery, on Monday April, 24, 2023, at 11AM.  All are welcome.

   Orville Floyd Feiock was born on November 8, 1939, in Sisseton, SD, to Ephraim and Viola (Kranzler) Feiock. He was raised in Aberdeen, SD, and graduated from Aberdeen Central High in 1957. He enlisted in the United States Navy on June 1957 and exited in October 1960. He served as a medic on the USS Independence. After serving, Floyd moved back home to Aberdeen, SD, and worked as a medic at the Aberdeen hospital.

   In 1976, he moved to Sioux Falls, where he met Joann Lewis. The two married and raised three children.

   Floyd drove a semi-truck, traveling all over the US. He retired after 39 yrs. Floyd loved watching Formula 1 races, old movies, books, car magazines, and old country music. He especially enjoyed being outdoors, sunbathing, and going for long walks.

   Left to cherish his memory are his children, Alex Feiock, Sioux Falls, and Becky Hayne, Sioux Falls; grandchildren, Cydni (Sadmir) Keserovic, Sioux Falls, Caden Quintanilla, Hackensack, NJ, and Keegan Hayne, Manchester, IA; great-granddaughter, Thea Keserovic, whom he adored; siblings, Audrey (Richard) Graves, Ethan, SD, Darlene (Duane) Rasmussen, Richmond, VA, Gary (Carol) Feiock, Sioux Falls; in-laws, Jeff (Judy) Lewis, Sioux Falls, Jim (Pat) Lewis, Michigan, Janice Lewis, Sioux Falls, and Don Blackburn, Missouri; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

   Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, Ephraim and Viola Feiock; wife, JoAnn Feiock; son, Jarrod Hayne; sister, Marlys Patterson; and sisters-in-law, Janice Blackburn, and Marge Feiock.
