Eventually, Dick moved to South Dakota and Minnesota where he worked as a Finance Manager for several different dealerships including Amdahl Motors, Spomer’s, Prostrello’s and AutoLand where he retired from in January.
Dick loved his family and spending time with them at the lake or boating created many special memories. His Corvettes and his dogs were also very special to him. Anyone who lived near Dick also saw him out in his yard working on making it perfect. He loved to mow the lawn or make sure the landscaping was exact.

Linda and family,
Where do I start and where do I finish. Dick and I had basically known each other since birth, being born in the same hospital on the same day
Only 15 min apart. We were born on Labor Day and always joked about our moms having a whole different take about Labor Day than most people. I have memories that bring a tickle to my heart and a tear to my heart. Mac was one of my best buds ever and I will miss him and celebrate his life and memory on our birthday as long as I can. He will be missed. May the grace of God be with you and know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Get that “woody woodpecker ” Stude, our most favorite cruiser, ready dear friend😜
We lived next door to Dick’s parents for eleven years, ( wonderful People and great neighbors).
They so loved both their children Dick and Jan. Thus, we did get to meet both Dick and Jan. May God Bless and be with all of the family.
Barb and Del Iverson, Huron
