Rick Leroy Moe was born to Richard and Hazel Moe on December 21, 1971, in Coon Rapids, MN., as the youngest of five children. After high school at Coon Rapids Senior High, Rick worked and also enlisted in the Army Reserves, where he received a Certificate of Achievement for his contribution to the army and our country. Eventually, his life took him to Sioux Falls, SD, where he was employed as the manager of Happy Jacks III Casino. Rick’s greatest and proudest accomplishment was his two beautiful daughters, whom he loved with all of his heart.

Rick is remembered for his intelligence, passion for music and guitar playing, genuine love of family and friends in Minnesota, South Dakota, and beyond, and his cat, Gina. He was seen as a gentle soul that touched many.

It brings comfort to know Rick was an organ donor and upon his death, could help others in need.

Rick is survived by his children, Megan and Michelle; his siblings, David, and Brenda; and brother-in-law, Tom, and Donna; his cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; and many close friends.

Rick is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Hazel Moe; and his sister, Luci.
