I am thankful for the exceptional service and guidance I received from Heartland Funeral Home including Todd, Ang, and staff. Everyone was super accommodating, helpful and caring. Todd and Ang made sure everything was handled and helped take care of items in the background that one does not think of. They made a difficult situation easier to handle. I had last minute changes, and they amazed me how on top of it they were. I am beyond thankful and blessed to ALL the staff for the beautiful service, remembrance and thank you cards, the songs played, clean up, refreshments, the courthouse errands, flowers, contacting the priest on my behalf and the many other things. On a side note, Todd, you really helped the little one and me without even knowing it to push through with your comforting words. We will not forget. The facilities are spacious with lots of parking. I do highly recommend Heartland Funeral Home.

I am fortunate in my life to not have had many experiences with funeral homes so I did not have many expectations of Heartland or the staff. The communication and guidance were excellent from the moment I engaged their services until the funeral and even after. They include so many thoughtful touches and it’s obvious that they strive to make a difficult situation easier for the grieving. Todd made suggestions that saved me money, which in this world of business is simply unheard of. He emphasized personalization and sharing memories which is a great comfort. Finally, I went to another funeral not long after at a different funeral home and was shocked by how inattentive and unhelpful the staff was in comparison. It was a night and day difference and so I am extremely grateful to have had such a wonderful experience with Heartland.

Todd was helpful and made sure we understood the process. He took care of obtaining my father's VA flag. He is much more reasonably priced compared to the companies in Sioux Falls. He had a quick turnaround for the cremation process and did not try to upsell things we did not want. I appreciate his dedication to the community and the process was made simple.
